Purchase & Accessories
Does this UPS come with a power adapter?
No. The product does not include a power adapter. We recommend using your NAS's original adapter for the best parameter match and long-term stability.
Can the two output ports power two NAS devices at the same time?
When mains power is available, power is supplied by the external adapter, so total output is limited by that adapter's maximum power. In general, W150 is recommended for up to 5-bay NAS, while W180 is better for 6-bay+ or dual-device scenarios.
Can I use a 12V adapter to power a 19V device?
No. WalleCube UPS does not perform voltage conversion. If input is 12V, output is 12V. Always use an adapter that matches your device's rated voltage.
Usage & Setup
Does the UPS need internet to work?
No. It works as a full UPS even offline. Internet enables advanced features such as power stats, outage alerts, remote wake-up (WOL), and OTA firmware updates.
Do I need to manually switch to battery mode during an outage?
No. The internal switching circuit automatically switches to battery power within 1 ms when mains power is interrupted.
Can NAS shut down automatically after an outage?
Yes. Enable UPS protection in your NAS admin panel (Synology / QNAP / UGREEN / FnOS / ZSpace / TrueNAS / UNRAID, etc.). A 5-minute shutdown countdown is generally recommended.
Can I enable automatic boot when power returns?
Yes. Configure both sides: 1) enable AC Power Recovery in BIOS/system settings; 2) enable No-output Sleep in the UPS mini program. When mains returns, UPS output resumes and NAS can auto boot.

Which NAS brands are supported?

Which protocol is used to communicate with NAS?
WalleCube UPS emulates the standard APC USB HID UPS protocol, which is supported out of the box by most NAS systems.
Can I use it with mini PCs / small servers?
Yes. Any device powered by a 9V-20V DC adapter (soft routers, NUCs, mini PCs, PoE switches, etc.) can be connected.
Support & Warranty
How should I troubleshoot abnormal behavior?
Start with two steps: 1) use a pin to press the front restart hole, wait 30 seconds, and reconnect; 2) check firmware version in the mini program and update via OTA if available. If unresolved, contact hi@wallecube.com with your serial number and issue details.
How long is the warranty?
2-year warranty for the main unit and 1-year warranty for the battery. Please refer to the product page in our Tmall flagship store for detailed after-sales policy.
