Power Adapter Configuration

Walle UPS supports 9V - 20V output and output adjustment. For different voltage devices, you need to connect the adapter to the UPS first, set the adapter parameters in the UPS, and then connect the NAS.

1. Operation Steps

  1. Use the mini-program to connect to the device via Bluetooth
  2. Click Advanced Configuration -> Power Adapter Configuration
  3. Enter the power adapter parameters in the form and submit

Power Adapter Configuration Interface

Power Adapter Voltage indicates the voltage of your power adapter under normal load operation. After setting this parameter, the UPS will supply power to the NAS at this voltage after power failure. This parameter can be referenced from the UPS mini-program data.

Power Adapter Current indicates the maximum current that the power adapter can load, used to limit the maximum output power of the power adapter. This parameter can be obtained from the nameplate on the power adapter.

Power Failure Detection Voltage indicates that when the adapter voltage is below this operating voltage, the UPS’s own battery will be connected to work. This parameter will be automatically calculated when modifying the power adapter voltage, and can also be adjusted up or down according to actual conditions.

After setting the voltage, you need to gently press the reset hole on the front of the device to restart the device to apply the new configuration.

3. Example

For example, for the power adapter shown in the figure above, you need to set the power adapter voltage to 12 and the current to 7.5. For the power failure detection voltage, you don’t need to set it, the system will automatically calculate it.

4. Notes

  • Please accurately fill in the voltage and current of the power adapter. Incorrect configuration may cause the UPS not to charge or damage the electrical equipment.
  • If the power adapter cannot reach the marked voltage, please appropriately reduce the power adapter voltage in the settings according to the actual situation.
  • The UPS does not have voltage transformation function. When the power adapter supplies power, the input voltage and output voltage are the same. Please do not choose an incompatible power adapter.
