WalleCube is a hardware team built by NAS geeks. We do not build generic consumer gadgets - we build UPS products for people who take data seriously.
OUR STORY
One outage forced us to rebuild RAID for 18 hours. The next day, we decided to build our own UPS.
WalleCube did not start from a business slide deck, but from a painful real incident. In 2021, a sudden outage crashed a home Synology setup, and we spent a full day recovering family photos and data.
We reviewed mainstream consumer UPS products: too bulky, too noisy, too disconnected from NAS workflows, or too slow to switch cleanly. None was truly designed for modern homelabs.
So we started from battery cells and control logic, building a UPS that had to be compact, silent, and intelligent - and most importantly, fast enough that NAS systems feel no interruption.

Origin
Our team came from the NAS community. One unexpected outage led to an 18-hour RAID rebuild. We realized traditional UPS products were not built for modern homelabs.
Prototype
The first lithium UPS prototype was built. <1ms switching, LiFePO4 cells, and Wi-Fi remote control were already there.
W150 Launch
W150 officially launched for 1-4 bay NAS users. Fanless, 0.6W standby, CNC aluminum body.
Ecosystem Expansion
WeChat mini program and app went live. Deep compatibility with Synology, QNAP, UGREEN, and ZSpace.
W180 Flagship
W180 launched for 6/8 bay NAS and virtualization labs, serving high-performance mini hosts and small production environments.
